Many restaurants nowadays refer to themselves as bistros, despite the fact that their food, ambiance and prices are at odds with the true definition of the term.  In France, a bistro is where blue collar workers go to eat homestyle fare at very modest prices; it is often served on bare wood or with draught beer and vin ordinaire.
Daily blackboard specials are prepared by Chef Jacky Robert, whose career and reputation are well-known to both Boston and west coast diners. Manager Loic Le Garrec is a native of Brittany and a veteran of Boston and New York's top dining rooms.
In true bistro tradition, entree prices are under $12 at lunch and under $20 at dinner.

at PRB Kenmore

Every first Monday of each month at 6:00 PM, chef Jacky is cooking a three course dinner for French speaking people.  A different region of France is featured each time.  This is a good way to practice your French or to talk about your upcoming vacation in Paris.  The cost is $50 per person ($5.00 given to the French Library).  It includes Tax, Tip and one glass of wine.

Oh! La La Chocolat

"Oh La La Chocolat!" he calls it. Definitely, Sebastien is the most crative bartender in Boston. After coming up with the Tarte Tatin Martini, The Roquefort Martini and the Lemon Tart Martini, Sebastien is knocking down the competition by producing this delectable beverage. Sebastien mixes Vodka, Bailey's, Black and white Godiva Liquor, then he warms it up with the Espresso machine rod. This is perfect for cold winter nights. Stop breathing as you take a sip or the alcohol will overwelm you.
